This week's post is a neat article I found at work, about wind upload concerns upon general green roof vegetation systems. While this mostly applies to LiveRoof's® plastic 'cup' assembly, it also has some valuable rules of thumbs for folks curious in conventional green roof designs. Wind loads remain one of the largest factors effecting high rise design, with substantial considerations needed for any attachments, nick-knacks, and integrated parts exposed to the wind at high altitudes.
